Session I: APAC Pre-Employment Screening and Background Check Trend

In this session, Leo and Crystal will share with us the latest pre-employment screening best practices in different industries and countries.

Leo Ma, Chief Operating Officer, eeVoices

Leo is an experienced business leader specializing in the pre-employment screening industry. Leo has been working in the pre-employment screening industry for over 10 years in both North America and Asia Pacific. He currently overseas the operation team at eeVoices including Hong Kong, the Greater China and other Asia operations. Prior to joining eeVoices and returning to Asia Pacific, Leo had the opportunity to work for the largest background check organization in North America. Leo was educated in three continents where he has completed his MBA degree in the HKU and London Business School Partnership Program and his BBA degree in Simon Fraser University.

Crystal Kong, Associate Director, eeVoices

Crystal Kong is one of the new generation leaders at eeVoices. She has been promoted from an Officer to Regional Manager and currently as Associate Director for one of the APAC regional teams at eeVoices. Taking on key responsibilities in client relations, team engagement and industry best practice research, Crystal has gained great insights in the screening industry that assisted clients to improve and continuously make better hiring decisions.

Lily Ting is Trainer and Human Resources Facilitator. Born in France, she came to Hong Kong in the early nineties. She speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and French. Specialized in organisational and individual development, she works with local and international firms, with people from different cultural backgrounds. In 1995, she set up the recruitment department of the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
