BI Over Beers -- We're Back!

It's been a while and we're excited to get together again! Please join us for what we hope will be a fun night of data, BI and beverages...

As Covid mandates are lessened and we're starting to feel more comfortable socializing again, we've decided to test the waters and organize our next BI Over Beers. If you haven't attended before, BIOB is basically an opportunity to get together, drink beer, and talk about data with like-minded professionals and students.

For this meeting, we're planning to meet at the Rhein Haus in Seattle -- beer, bratwurst and pretzels. Yum! We're gathering ideas for topics and will then have attendees vote on preferences. The day of the event, we will have break-out groups focused on each topic. You'll be able to move around the groups if more than one topic grabs your attention, and you'll be able to skip all that and just mingle over Bocce Ball if that's more to your preference. We have a bocce ball court reserved for the group.

BIOB is typically a pay your own way event -- the hosts will be ordering some appetizers and snacks for this session but your drinks and any additional food are up to you. We will not be checking at the door, but kindly request you not to attend if you're not vaccinated.
