Hat's On Ladies! It's Kentucky Derby Day! Place your bets! Read below!

This year is the 152nd Running for the Roses.

Let's get together for lunch beforehand and have some fun!

1. Dress up! You don't have to be real fancy, this is lunch after all. But break out that dress or nice skirt and of course wear a hat or a fascinator. Examples in the pics above.

2. Bring $10.00 in cash for the betting pool. Once it gets closer to derby time, there will be a list of all the horses running. I will bring that list and we can go over it and see who we want to place our bets on. I will hold on to the money and once the winner is declared I can arrange to meet the winner or winners (in case of a tie) to get you your money. Or thru Venmo. We are just betting on the Winner of the race. I may have us pick two horses because there tends to be a lot of horses running.

3. Be respectful. This is for fun. If you don't wish to bet on a horse, no problem. You can still dress up and join us at lunch.

4. We won't be able to view the race at this time, I believe it is usually late afternoon our time when it is run, so please reach out if you are a winner!
