We do a 20 min "Buteyko breathing method unique power walk 3 days a week designed to balance the body's carbon dioxide. Everyone knows that exhale is about releasing CO2 from the body/lungs. This walking exercise as an introduction to Buteyko, is a key aspect of the method- utilizing a controlled breath hold to affect the system's CO2 toward optimizing oxygen uptake to cells tissues and organs. Through this exercise, one learns about respiratory physiology in a simplified, easy to grok manner as a vehicle toward correcting dysfunctional breathing patterns, and improving overall health. It will positively affect common symptoms related to anxiety and panic disorder, circulation, blood pressure considerations, sleep disorders, and asthma, etc. We proceed at a pace that is sensitive to people's physiology and health considerations, initiating a path toward optimum health.
