What we’re about
The Butler Anxiety & Depression Support Group is a support group for people living with chronic anxiety and/or depression. The objective is to offer a place where members can check in with problems in these areas and in turn receive support from other members.
This is not necessarily an activity group, but outside activities may be scheduled. The main focus, however, is on providing a low-key, low-pressure environment for people to share experiences and in turn receive encouragement, empathy, sympathy, or whatever else a member may need.
This is not a problem-solving group, either. Often, people have problems that cannot be totally solved. Sometimes, all one needs is the companionship and care of others who can relate. People of all shapes, sizes, sexes, ages, races, religions, orientations and nationalities are welcome.
