BYOBook: non-fiction books presentations and discussion

This is a regular Bring-Your-Own-Book session, where participants share and present to the group a non-fiction book they have read. (You may also just sit in to hear and discuss others' presentations.)

Any non-fiction material: a book, documentary, or lecture or a part of it - anything with a title and an author and that contains some coherent ideas.

40 minutes per book, including summary (10-30 min) and discussion (accordingly).
You can read notes or parts of the book, bring pictures and draw graphs, sing and dance - as long as it can effectively convey the summary of the book.

The meeting will be either in a park or in a coffee shop, on HK side. The exact place to be confirmed with the attendees by WhatsApp only. I will / have sent the link to the WhatsApp group, please use the link.

It is possible to join for listening without bringing your own book (yet ;)).

Introvert friendly.

Usually a meeting takes 2-3 hours. During this time we discuss 2 different books. Please send your book's title and author in advance by WhatsApp. First received first added to the lineup!

There is a fee of 20 HKD for the first timers to help funding the Meetup membership needed to run the group.

Do not hit "Attend" if you are not going to attend.
If you RSVPed, but there is anything preventing you from going to the meeting, remember to tell the host and/or update the RSVP as soon as possible. No-shows are all silently noted with much disapproval and will be eventually moved to the blacklist.
