This route as mapped here represents a one-way stretch of the Rock Island Greenway, which is a long, paved multi-use pathway. The full greenway is much longer than this, We will do a shorter section of this hike (total 4 miles) beginning from Pioneer Parkway entrance. It has some slope to it, but for the most part it stays relatively level.
