About Fedalytics ( http://www.fedalytics.com/ )
Fedalytics synthesizes and analyzes political data from multiple sources into a clear and focused format. Professionals with vested interests in the policy process, political outcomes, and related organizations are too often confronted with an abundance of data that takes too much time and resources to analyze. The data is almost always scattered across a variety of disparate sources and in different formats. The raw data does not provide immediate insights. Fedalytics solves these problems by unifying the previously scattered data into one source so the information is easily findable, cleanly presented, and focused on the needs of professionals.
Josh Hurd ( josh@fedalytics.com ) is committed to helping businesses, government, and other organizations make better decisions by unifying analytics, data, and strategy. He was educated in public policy and economics at Dartmouth College and received a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. Josh has analyzed economic impacts for non-profit organizations, served as an analyst for the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and founded a tech startup that used public transit data to provide arrival predictions. He currently is a strategy and operations consultant for Deloitte and in his spare time enjoys dabbling in projects such as Fedalytics.
