Low Light and Into the Night (with Erica Robinson)

Details

Photographing in minimal light can prove challenging and lead to beautifully unique images.

In this seminar we will go back to basics to understand how our camera equipment functions in low light, how best to control apertures, shutter speeds, and ISOs, and share tips to enhance our creative approach. This guide will show you how photographing the moon, playing with light painting, expressing movement, finding the Milky Way, and more are all reasons not to put your camera away when the light dwindles.

About the Instructor - Erica Robinson has always had a strong passion for photography and travel, but she found her true calling when she merged the two. After studying photography in college, her first adventure was working as a photographer for a cruise line. Trying to pursue a different genre, she worked with talented Boston wedding photographers while learning the technical side of working for a local camera store. She believes photography is an incredible tool that allows us to stop a moment and relive it every time we look at that image. She genuinely enjoys teaching others how to capture that moment in the way it makes them feel, to relive it over and over again.
