use and create a content provider

This meet up runs in 3 tracks, when you RSVP indicate which one you would prefer to follow.

Please bring a laptop. To make it easier for problem solving, ideally it should run Microsoft windows 7.

Track 1 10:00-16:00

Work on your own project and solve issues with event organizer and other group members using the projector. Join tracks 1 and 3 as and when you need to.

If you book for track 1 you may find it rewarding to help out those just getting started.

Track 2 11:00-16:00

11:00 – 11:45 Start with material presented in meet ups 1-5

11:45 – 12:15 Presentation by group member – yet to be confirmed.

After lunch continue with materials presented in meet ups 1 - 5 or optionally progress to track 3

Track 3 14:00 – 16:00

Use a content provider - write code to read and modify data managed by an existing content provider. Create a content provider to expose structured data to another app.

If you are a student or job seeker, let me know by email before you arrive. There is an anonymous donor who has promised to pay for the refund of two places for job seekers/students on each meet up. However, to ensure take up of places, the refund occurs after the meet up, if the session has been attended.
