Greg Greenway plays Musical Lairs in Villanova
Details
Out of the Boston Folk music scene, singer/songwriter, poet, multi-instrumentalist, teacher, and social activist Greg Greenway has played Carnegie Hall, been heard on NPR's All Things Considered, Mountain Stage, and Car Talk. A founding member of Brother Sun, he is now one half of Deeper Than The Skin, an exploration of race in America, along with Reggie Harris. Greg has been on our Musical Lairs’ stages both solo and as part of his various other projects many times over these 27 years.
Greg proclaims this new CD to be his best work ever, and I would have to agree. Recorded at Morningstar Studios, Greg stayed here during the recording process and I had an opportunity to hear all the bits and pieces come together into the most musical and amazing collection he’s ever created - a strong endorsement, indeed. After a few decades in Massachusetts, Greg returned "home" to Virginia several years ago but continues to return frequently to the Northeast because of his strong fan base in the area. www.greggreenway.com.
