How to use Reinforcement Learning to build a Battlesnake

Details

Hey everyone! We’re very happy to be partnering with Battlesnake and AWS this year to discuss machine learning based agents for Battlesnake 2020. We’re going to keep the event informal to allow discussion on our previous approaches and what people may be cooking up this year!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xavier Raffin (Solutions Architect) & Jonathan Chung (Applied Scientist Deep Learning Team) of AWS Canada are excited to present the details behind several machine learning models they’ll be putting forward as sponsor snakes for Battlesnake 2020 on March 15th at the Victoria Conference Center!

The snakes are implemented with Reinforcement Learning and built on Amazon Sagemaker. During the event you will learn about the challenges and techniques, and can even play against the snake yourself!

Come out and chat with previous years' contestants who have used machine learning in their own approaches, and discuss new approaches that you might be working on for this year.
