Beyond the bridge to nowhere, East fork play day.

I do this hike or a version of it at least once a month. This will be a relaxed pace hike along the East fork of the San Gabriel river. Given the forcast for this week, we should have a perfect warm day suitable for swimming.

The route we take will be based on my whims and those of the group. There are many versions of this hike we can take, including the basic bridge hike ( Boring!), Tho low route past the falls in Devil gulch and the horshoe mine, The boulder hopping and swimming river route under the bridge, or we can opt to take the main trail and go into the narrows and possibly Iron Fork.

I am just going out there to be out there, and possibly spot my sheep. Anything else will be up to the group.

I would like to ask that you please be experienced and equipped with the 10 essentials and carrying what you need, Including warm clothes. And if you are not used to the kind of mileage on this hike, even though it is a fairly easy hike, dont consider it.
