In this talk, I'll show you how to improve the Developer Experience using an API-First Approach and the benefits that this approach brings to your solution.
19h45 - 20h30: Getting start Function as a Service with Azure Functions!
In the Event-Driven Era where we must deal with a bunch and tons of data coming from everywhere such as mobile applications, IoT sensors, Web platforms, Smartwatches, Smart TVs and more, it is essential that you technological platform is prepared to process all these data using some auto-scale approach which is important to do so. But, you can be wondering that this kind of approach is very expensive due to if it is an auto-scaling platform, I will pay a lot for that behavior. The answer is NO! So, in this session, José Roberto will introduce you to the Azure Function world showing you up how it is possible to have a platform that is upon an auto-scaling without pay a lot for that.

He is a Senior Software Engineer at Farfetch. He has more than 18 years of experience in tech companies. He is a developer who is passionate about technology, development, system architecture, and solutions. He has worked on different kinds of projects in his entire career path. Furthermore, he has worked in different positions as a Solution Architect, Technical Leader, Senior Software Engineer, and he usually applies DevOps practices through all the projects in which he has been worked on. One of the most valuable thing for him is to work in high-performance development teams and bring team members to think out of the box. It has interesting study areas that grab his attention such as Software & Solution Architecture, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, SOA & DDD, and DevOps.
