Hike to Fire Island + beach + Afterparty

THE PLAN:
- Meet @ Robert Moses Beach Field 5 - on the side of Beach Shop, next to Ladies Rest Rooms.
==>> Be there EARLY!!!
BE THERE EARLY!!! Sometimes Traffic Heavy on Robert Moses Causeway - take OCEAN Pkwy instead if possible.
There is a slight chance field 5 get full, check this meetup page if that happens. If full, normally they reopen it every 15 min or so.
Remember SPOTTY Cell SIGNAL at the Beach.
- Walk to Saltaire / Kismet (Fire Island) - on soft sand. Around 1/2 hour walk. Take a short break in Fire Island. Enjoy a snack (shops nearby, or pack it with you). Then explore a bit.
- Walk Back.
- Return to Field 5, then head to cars, bring beach supplies from cars, food, cooler etc. Chill at the beach for a bit.
- Around 6pm. Possible Afterparty: Relax, music, drinks, chill PLUS an amazing Sunset at the nearby Salt Shack or Boatyard. Location discussed during the walk.
- Bring Sunblock, Bug-spray, FOOD (not many food options available at the beach), Drinks (Cooler with your favorite drink), Beach Chair/Mat, Beach accessories etc. (leave them in the car for later).

This is an event organized for our friends to get together and socialize. We are not professional hikers or professional organizers. You are welcome to join us but before you attend you must familiarize yourself with the risks associated with this type of activity.

You agree not to hold the Organizer, Co-Organizer, Assistant Organizers, Event Organizer, Event Hosts, Hike Leader or any other members responsible for any injuries, mishaps, or any other situation that may happen at a planned event. Your attendance at the event signifies that you have read and accept the terms of this liability waiver.
