Building mobile apps with Corona SDK

New year and a fresh start. Formally the Nashville Flash Platform UG, this will be our first meeting under the new name.

To kick things off we will be talking about mobile app development with Corona SDK.

About the talk: Corona SDK has become one of the best solutions for building apps for mobile devices. You can rapidly and easly build software that will run on iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, Kindle Fire, Nook Table and coming soon for the Mac Desktop App Store.

We will cover the basics of getting started, what things you can do with CoronaSDK and then cover some of the actual code basics that most Actionscript 3 and Java developers will want to know but over all the talk will be geared to the basics.

As usual, Vaco will be hosting us. There will be snacks and beer, water, and soda. Also we have some Adobe gear that we will be giving out to anyone that comes to the meetup till it's all gone.
