An Intro to SharePoint Online & Office 365 Development Using the New Tool Chain

In this talk, Ralph Rivas will be walking through setting up a fresh developer workspace to be used for developing with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), a major change to “traditional” SharePoint programming for SharePoint Online (Office 365) and SharePoint on Premises (SP 2016 and onward).

It starts with a short history for perspective and moves quickly into demonstrations leveraging Azure. Along the way, there are cliff notes on how to use the tools in the chain to help folks who are both new to the system and those who have been using it since it was introduced in 2016.
