What we're about

Let's get together for local outdoor activities, like going for a snow shoe into Jerry Pond, an afternoon ski along the upper East Branch, a hike up Sugarloaf Mountain, or a bike ride along the Bait Hole trails. We can also have events for just the ladies or families (like "Bring Your Mom Mountain Biking!" or an organized shuttle bus trip to the World Cup Biathalon in Presque Isle this winter), and "learn-to" programs like fly fishing, stand-up paddle boarding, geocaching, campfire cooking, etc. This is a group for anyone interested in getting outside and moving. Hiking, walking, camping, kayaking, biking, skiing, and more. All skills levels are welcome. Open to all ideas that get us outside, learning, enjoying and moving! I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors and getting to know my new community members who like the same. There are no age or ability level restrictions. This is not a race. (But we could always sponsor one sometime!) Bring a friend or family member whenever you like.

Please note this space is open to discussion and editing! Just trying it out.

Thank you,
