Wittman is a former Senior Investigator/Founder of the FBI's National Art Crime Team and is responsible for the recovery of more than $300 million worth of stolen art and cultural property.
As an FBI Special Agent, Wittman conducted investigations throughout the world, often working undercover to rescue artifacts that ran the gamut from stolen Rembrandt's, to tomb-robbed ancient Peruvian golden artifacts, to Geronimo's eagle-feathered war bonnet.
