Qigong with Rudy Avalos

Rudy Avalos has been training in and teaching Qigong for over 15 years. His roots began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (now called Pacific College of Health and Sciences) where he graduated as a Holistic Health Practitioner with 1,000 hours of training. He also worked at the Taoist Sanctuary while living in San Diego, California. Here in Tucson he has taught Qigong at Centerline Movement and the Integrative Touch Healing Center as well as his weekly class out in nature.
Qigong is an energy cultivation system which enhances and supports your mind/body connection. It helps regulate your nervous system and it is a beneficial practice for anyone who is empathic, sensitive, or needs any type of emotional balance. This gentle practice incorporates breathwork, repeated rhythmic movements, and increase body awareness.
This evening class will include beginner to intermediate level Qigong and guided meditations with Taoist and Shamanic influences. Please wear flat shoes and loose comfortable clothing. Each class will close with a guided meditation designed to relax and ground your energy.
