Meteor Shower Boat Cruise August 10th

Thursday August 10th will be an ideal evening for viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower. The peak days are August 10 through 13. Enjoy meteors shooting across the sky and the Milky Way Galaxy! August is the best month to view the Milky Way. As meteors streak across the sky, the on-board astronomer will guide you through the constellations and stars with a pointer on the top deck of this large commercial boat!

Arrive by 8:00 pm to start boarding. The cruise leaves at 8:30 pm and returns at 11:00 pm. The boat has a bar and food for sale. We travel out into the ocean where the skies are as dark as rural Vermont, and the stars and meteors are amazing! The boat comes to a stop, and we all gather on the upper and lower viewing decks to view and learn about the night sky.

Come join us for an amazing night during the Perseid Meteor Shower! The cruises are contingent upon the weather. The cost is $60 per person, payable when boarding the boat, cash only.
