Difficult times prove that joy and grief can be carried together. However, senseless violence against Black men, women, and children can take our grief to an unbearable level. We work, raise families, and encourage friends/colleagues, all while coping with the stress of a pandemic compounded by the devastating loss and recent murders of Rayshard Brooks, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others.

Despite these challenges, our ability to persevere in the face of adversity is remarkable, and we find the SUPERNATURAL strength to consistently care for others. But how are you taking care of you, Sis? How are you protecting your peace these days? We inherited a legacy of resistance, resilience, strength, of hope and love, but we need a space of our own to reflect, restore, and recharge. So, hear words that affirm our power and existence, engage in uplifting dialogue to help process the injustice we face, and explore tools to find joy and protect our peace in the midst of pain as we #reset and #[re]connect together!
