Photo Event : Sunset on a Summer Evening at The Devil's Punchbowl

A simple sunset at a beautiful location.

We will meet in the National Trust car park and make the short walk to the Eastern rim of the Punchbowl at Gibbet Hill. The views from there are fantastic as Gibbet Hill is the second highest hill in Surrey, Leith Hill being the tallest by a mere 23 metres.

This is a good opportunity to capture some great sunset / landscape images. Graduated filters might be useful (but not essential) or you might like to photograph the plants in the golden light (there will be some colour), or get creative as the shadows lengthen.

We will stay at the location for half an hour after sunset as the colours in the sky can be amazing given the right conditions. A tripod would be useful for capturing images once the sun has set.
