Meteor Shower & Stargazing @ Fremont Lookout

The Perseid meteor shower, known as the year's finest, will peak on August 12-13, showcasing a meteor spectacle.
This will be moderate hike which is around 5.7 miles roundtrip, ~1200 feet. We would start hiking from Sunrise Visitor Center at Mount Rainier National Park and on the way visit frozen lake, before reaching the destination Fremont lookout.
After reaching the Fremont Lookout, we'll wait for sunset and enjoy the breathtaking starry sky before making our way back. Remember to bring your headlamps(if possible) for the return journey, it will be useful.

Meet @ park and ride @ 4:00pm
Trailhead @ 6:00pm
Fremont Mountain @ 8:00pm
Descent @ 1:30 am
Back to trailhead @ 2:30 am

Bring, water, snacks, extra clothing and flashlight, chair and food for meteor shower. The plan is to carpool to the trailhead. Please be prepared to donate some gas money if you are not driving.
National Park Pass required, I have one, we just need one per car.
