BBC Proms - Lerner & Loewe – My Fair Lady
Details
Promming in London is one experience not to be missed - BBC Proms have just announced the prom season. You can prom on the day (cheaper at £5 ) or buy tickets in advance - which will sell out quickly for this performance. If you are promming you may have to be on the queue for 3hrs at the very least for this very popular performance- but that is part of the promming experience (hundreds queue on the day, you will not be alone and its a small party scene ) and great many friendships have been forged here !

About this event
John Wilson and his hand-picked orchestra return, with an all-star cast, for their first ever recreation of a complete musical. A Broadway classic, Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady is also the archetypal London show, its roots in George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion. Tonight's realisation revives André Previn's Oscar-winning orchestrations for the 1964 film.
