The Barony of Caerthe and the Baron and Baroness have issued a challenge to the warriors,

equestrians and Bards of the Barony. You are challenged and invited to join and vie to be one of

the new Champions of Caerthe. Bring your honor, skills and abilities and be the one, a Champion

of Caerthe

The site will open on Friday for those wishing to camp that night and to be

there and have an early start for the activities of Saturday. On Saturday

there will be tournaments for Armed heavy fighting, for Rapier, for Cut and

Thrust, for Equestrians, for Archery and for Bards. There will be a silent

auction on Saturday with items being offered by several Artisans of the

Barony. And in the evening the bards will bring forth and present their skills.

The silent auction will feature four scissor tables which are perfect for our

events, are light, fold down small and are versatile.

Schedule:

Friday

Site opens for those wishing to camp and to be there early on Saturday so that they will not be

stressed by the drive to the site early Saturday morning. Site is Wet. Friday afternoon will also be a time for site set up.

12:00 PM site opens and Set up will begin

Saturday

9:30 AM Opening Court of Baron Dubhghall and Baroness Ansteys

10:00 AM Armored Fighter Tournament

12:30 PM Rapier Fighter Tournament

2:30 PM Cut and Thrust tournament

3:30 PM Archery Tournament

5:30 PM Bardic

After the completion of the Bardic contest we will have Evening/Closing Court

During the entire day Saturday the silent auction will be open. Offered in the silent auction

will be four tables prepared and presented by Baron Dubhghall, Sir Allisdair and Mistress

Dianna (see pictures below) plus items from the artisans of the Barony. Proceeds from the

auction will be donated to the Barony to be used for the event expenditures. Monies received

that exceed the event cost will be split between the Barony and the Kingdom Travel Fund.

Sunday

10:00 AM – site will close at noon

Directions:

Driving from the north: Take I-25 South to I-270 East or take I-70 east. Continue on I-70 and

take exit 305 towards Kiowa. Stay on the N Kiowa-Bennet road and once in Kiowa turn left onto

CO-86/E Comanche St. Continue to and turn left onto Comanche Creek Road and go to CO

Road 150. Turn right onto CO Road 150 and go 2 miles and the site will be on the right.

Driving from the south using I-25: Take I-25 north and take exit 153 for Interquest Parkway to

CO-83 and go north. Drive to Hodgen Road and turn right. Turn left onto Eastonville Road.

Drive and turn right onto Evans Road and then turn left onto Elbert Road. Drive to and turn right

onto CO-86 East. Continue to Comanche Creek Road and turn left. Drive to CO Road 150 and

turn right. Continue on CO Road 150 for 2 miles and the site will be on the right.

From the Denver South metro area: Take I-25 South to exit 184 for US 85, North Meadowds

Parkway toward CO-86 East, Founders Parkway and turn left onto Meadows Parkway towards

Franktown. Keep left to continue on Founders Parkway/Meadows Parkway to CO-86. Turn left onto CO-86 and drive through Kiowas to Comanche Creek Road. Drive to CO Road 150 and

turn rught. Drive 2 miles and the site will be on the right.
