Startup Jams: Business Model Session

Details
Description:
On Wednesday May 21st, collaborate with a team of 9 other entrepreneurs to build a mock startup. Using Lean Startup principles developed by Eric Reis, entrepreneurs and biz dev geeks will flesh out a startup business model in less than two hours.
This is a participation event; exercise your critical thinking, business development skills and creativity through practice and collaboration. Who are our customers? What is our value proposition? How do we learn as fast as possible whether this startup can be successful? These are some of the important questions that you and the rest of the Startup Jams team will help answer.
This exercise is designed for learning and fun, we will not be creating a real business. What you will be doing is: applying lessons learned to your startup, learning how to use the Business Model Canvas and Lean Canvas, building relationships with other entrepreneurs, and exercising your creativity.
The cost is $10 (Eventbrite registration is required), and we’ll provide beer, soda, and snacks to keep you energized. Bring a laptop and/or pencil and paper, there will be plenty of notes and sketching to do.
