FSPA Community Strings concert INSIDE Flint Institute of Arts

Friday nights in July and August, join the FIA in partnership with FIM's Music Around Town series for Patio Nights on the Palette Café patio!

Enjoy an al fresco evening of live music, food, drinks and great ambience. The event is FREE, and food and drink specials are available for purchase
starting at 5p.

Arrive early for a seat on the patio, or bring a chair or blanket and kick back on the FIA lawn. Live music plays from 6-7:30 p each week, and musical genres vary.

Plus, the museum is open late for guests to explore the galleries and exhibitions until 8p.

We’ll be enjoying strings, Broadway, and opera, featuring Richard Thompson and Dr Quincy Dobbs. Dr Dobbs is the pianist who has been working with the Unisong Chorale I’m singing with to go to Ireland next year. Alesia Byrd Johnson (violinist for my church) will also be playing.

Afterwards, we may find somewhere to go dancing! Join us for something a little different!
