Dollywood & Pigeon Forge in the Fall

Join us for a fabulous long-weekend @ Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

SEASONAL FOODS, FALL DECORATIONS, LUMINIGHTS, AND SPECIAL SHOWS

There’s also lots to see and do in the Smokies and Pigeon Forge too.

This will be my third to trip to Dollywood. I’m excited to it dressed up for harvest. Hopefully, the leaves will be starting to turn orange, red, and golden.

Nothing has been nailed down yet, but I’d like to see who’s interested, and then we can decide together what we want to do exactly.

Tentatively, Thursday we’d drive to Jungle Jim’s International Market (super cool place) to take a break, get any supplies we might need, and eat. Then proceed to drive to Pigeon Forge. I’ve driven straight back twice. It’s not bad. I usually stop about every 2 to 2.5 hours for restroom or breaks.

While there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we can decide what all we want to take in. I recommend Sunday for Dollywood in hopes it won’t be quite as busy.

Monday we drive back and stop at a Buc-ee’s about 1/2 way. Think world’s largest gas station convenience store at Dollar General prices. They also have a to-go kitchen inside. Yum!

If these dates are not good, we could also consider moving the trip to early November, but it might be quite cold and wet by then.
