Dear friends,

During the May 26 edition of Cafe philo Eindhoven we are revisiting the movie "MindWalk". It is always a pleasant feeling to watch this film and then do our own MindWalk. Lets do it simple and effortless this time :).

Mindwalk is a 1990 film based on a nonfiction book ("The Turning Point") by Fritjof Capra (Physicist and author of the book, "The Tao of Physics"). The film portrays a wide-ranging conversation among three characters: Sonia, a Norwegian physicist who abandoned a lucrative career after discovering that elements of her work were being applied to weapons development, Jack, an American politician attempting to make sense of his recent defeat as a presidential candidate, and Tom, a poet, Jack's close friend, and a disillusioned former political speechwriter, while they wander around Mont saint-michel, Normandy.

What I admire about this movie is how different philosophical topics are handled from different perspectives of the characters and the respect between them. I also admire the fact that the transformation suggested in this movie is still relevant after all these decades since the movie is released.

I invite you to watch the film if possible and lets have a conversation based on these topics or any topics you have in mind.
Lets make this session a little casual.

Welcome to another friendly and harmonious conversation circle.

See you soon!!
