During the July edition of cafe philo Eindhoven, we would like to inquire ourselves through the questions on the novella Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.

There are several interpretations made for this story.

How do you interpret this story?

What could be the consequences if we completely transformed suddenly now?

What could be the social implications?

Lets think about a transformation that happens with as a wish and on the other hand a transformation imposed on us against our wish.

What is our relationsship with the society?

Is it transactional or unconditional?

Is it possible to have an unconditional relationship?

What are the consequences of not being able to be able an express and live an authentic self?
