Cafe & Artmaking Time

I like to try cafes in and around Snohomish, or sometimes even as far south as Redmond and North Seattle. Therefore, I'm putting together a group that will meet twice a month in some cafe somewhere. (Float me your location ideas! Where have you wanted to try?) Simultaneously, our trips out will function to protect us some creative time. Think more art-oriented than craft-oriented --> intended to develop fine art skills and talk shop about professional goals.

The one basic etiquette rule is to bring only a small, non-toxic and non-staining materials setup and pack out what you bring in, which basically means never pouring paints/water down the sinks of cafes. I want to make sure we do not obstruct the regular function and comfort of these cafes and we leave them as we found them. Pencil, pen, marker, watercolor and digital art will all make the most sense for this goal.

We might also have to limit attendance or finesse our planning so that we can find seating at busier locations. I'm thinking we'll probably aim for chiller locations, though, so hopefully packed houses won't be a problem...
