Science in Reading: "Geek Night - Menopause Decoded"

Basingstoke Science Cafe members are invited to the Science in Reading Geek Night event "Menopause Decoded" delivered by Dr Dani Hristova at Zero Degrees in Reading.

Science in Reading monthly meetups are held upstairs at Zero Degrees (9 Bridge St, Reading RG1 2LR) from 7pm with the talk starting at 7.30pm.

Menopause Decoded: What we should know about hormones, symptoms & HRT (Dr Dani Hristova)
Most men (and women, before they have to deal with it), know little about menopause—yet it affects partners, colleagues, friends, and society at large. This talk breaks down what really happens during menopause, the science behind hormonal changes, and how hormone replacement therapy (HRT) works. We’ll also look at common misconceptions, side effects, and why understanding menopause is everyone’s business, not just women’s.

Time: 7pm until late (talk starts at 7.30pm)
