Umm Kulthum Museum Visit
Friday, 14 August | 2:00 PM
Join us for a cultural afternoon at the Umm Kulthum Museum, dedicated to the life and legacy of Egypt’s most celebrated singer, often known as the “Star of the East.”
Located in the beautiful Manial district on Roda Island, the museum showcases an extraordinary collection of Umm Kulthum’s personal belongings, iconic dresses, handwritten letters, rare photographs, awards, and recordings that tell the story of her remarkable career and lasting influence on Arabic music and culture.
During our visit, we will explore the museum together, discuss the fascinating history behind the exhibits, and enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere while meeting new people who share an interest in Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
After the museum visit, anyone interested is welcome to join the group for coffee or refreshments at a nearby café.
