We want to build a FUN COMMUNITY in Calgary that celebrates the rich heritage, traditions and values of Chinese culture. Whether you're of Chinese descent or simply interested in learning more about this vibrant culture, the club offers a unique platform for social interaction, cultural exchange, and networking opportunities.
Members of the Chinese Social Club enjoy access to a wide range of activities and events, such as:
- Social Mixers & Networking: Meet and connect with like minded individuals in a lively and friendly atmosphere.
- Sports & Recreational Activities: Participate in sporting activities such as badminton, pickleball, soccer, snowboarding, hiking...
- Workshops and Classes: Learn Cantonese/Mandarin, Chinese cooking, or skills like stock trading through engaging workshops led by experts.
- Community Service: Give back through volunteer opportunities and initiatives that promote cultural understanding and diversity.
- Cultural Celebration: Participate in traditional Chinese festivals, such as Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Dragon Boat Festival, with authentic food, music, and performances.
