Dinner @Stephen Ave + Calgary Tower - Practice Cantonese while exploring Calgary

Are you new to Calgary? Or just looking to explore the city further? You have come to the right place, join us as we tour downtown Calgary while practicing Cantonese.

Our friend Bhavik is an enthusiastic Cantonese speaker visiting from Vancouver.

Complete beginners are welcome as well as native speakers. As long as you have an interest in the language, you are welcome.

The first stop will be Stephen Ave, where we will meet up for dinner at Rose Garden Thai restaurant. A short 5 minute walk away is the Calgary tower, where you will be able to have a 360 view of the city skyline.

If time allows, in between dinner and the Calgary tower, we will explore Stephen Ave from the West End all the way to City Hall/Olympic Plaza.

Recommended time to purchase Calgary tower tickets is 7:30 or 8:00 PM. (It closes at 9:00.)

If there is interest, we can head onto Chinatown for bubble tea afterwards. Peerless Pearl tea shop is the recommended destination.
