A Hero of Our Time is a collection of 5 stories centred around the main character Pechorin. He is a Byronic hero: arrogant, bored, believes in nothing, but romantic, brave, and magnetic.
Lermontov writes in a psychological manner that reflects the culture of the time.
Some main themes include the following: love, corruption, moral indifference.
We are meeting at the Central Library in room 3-19 C (third floor). Parking can be difficult sometimes; there are several cheap, pay parking lots nearby - I usually use these.
