About us
Calgary Dementia Caregivers Support Circle
Caring for someone with dementia can be one of the most meaningful things you will ever do — but it can also be emotionally, mentally, and physically overwhelming.
Many caregivers feel alone.
You may be supporting a parent, spouse, relative, or friend who is experiencing memory loss, confusion, behavioral changes, or dementia. Some days are manageable. Other days can feel incredibly difficult.
This group was created so you don’t have to face that journey alone.
The Calgary Dementia Caregivers Support Circle is a safe and welcoming community for family members and caregivers supporting someone living with dementia.
Here, you can:
• Connect with other caregivers who understand what you’re going through
• Share experiences and practical advice
• Learn strategies for managing dementia-related behaviors
• Ask questions in a supportive environment
• Gain emotional support from people on the same journey
Our meetups will include:
• Open caregiver discussions
• Practical dementia care tips and guidance
• Guest talks from professionals in dementia care
• Opportunities to build supportive relationships with others in the community
Whether you are just beginning this journey or have been caring for someone with dementia for years, you are welcome here.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply sit together, share experiences, and support one another.
If you are caring for someone with dementia in Calgary, this group is for you.
Join us and become part of a compassionate community that understands.
Together, we can make the dementia caregiving journey a little easier.
