Experience Works – Where Do We Go From Here?
This is a request for your feedback, not an in-person meeting. Before planning our next activities, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the future of Experience Works.
I'm not sure you received my message, so I am resending it as an event. I started Experience Works partly because I wanted to find a community where I could connect with others who, like me, are over 60 and still have the energy, curiosity, and desire to keep learning and contributing.
My vision was to create a supportive community where we could encourage one another, share experiences, and explore opportunities through entrepreneurship, consulting, employment, volunteering, or other meaningful activities.
We’ve grown to 42 members, which is encouraging! However, participation in our meetings and online discussions has been limited, even though we've tried different meeting times and locations.
Before deciding on the future of the group, I’d really appreciate your thoughts:

  1. Are you still interested in being part of an active Experience Works community?
  2. What has prevented you from participating so far?
  3. What would make this group valuable to you? Informal discussions, mutual encouragement, guest speakers, sharing opportunities, or something else?

I’d love to see Experience Works grow into a community where everyone has something to offer and something to gain. To make that happen, we need members who are interested in participating.
I’ll review whether to continue the group based on the interest and responses we receive. If you’d like to see Experience Works continue, please share your thoughts by October 23.
Thank you for being part of this initiative!
Teresa
