Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting is happening Nov 27th, 6PM at Platform Calgary in Classroom 2 (2nd floor, far west). At this meeting we vote in new directors, propose changes to our bylaws, review the overall year and discuss direction for our organization as a whole.
Anyone who is a voting member of the CGDA (which you can sign up for free on our website) is allowed to vote at this event. You only must have been a CGDA voting member for at least 30 days.

Interested in becoming a director?

Interested in making a difference in the Alberta Game development scene? Any voting member of the CGDA may put their name forward to be voted in as a director but we do recommend considering the few notes below…
CGDA directors are not a casual role. Despite being volunteers CGDA directors are often putting in 8+ hours a week minimum of dedicated work towards our vast amount of initiatives. Please don't apply if you don't feel you can commit to the time.

Directors are expected to have multiple initiatives they are engaged in. Please fill out the form below to let us know what you'd like to take on if you were to become a director!
