Calgary has plenty of comedy, theatre, art, live music, festivals, exhibitions, talks, cultural events and other interesting things happening — so let's actually go to them.
Calgary Go See & Do is an event-first social group. Rather than meeting just to mingle, we'll choose something interesting to attend together. The activity is the reason we're meeting, and conversation happens naturally around it.
Maybe it's a comedy show. Maybe it's an improv performance, concert, festival, art exhibition, cultural event, interesting talk, or something we've never tried before.
Afterward, we may grab some food, coffee, or a drink for anyone who wants to continue hanging out.
Events will vary in price and type, and there won't necessarily be an event every single week if there's nothing particularly interesting happening. Some events will be great, some will be merely okay — the point is to get out, try things, and occasionally discover something awesome.
No pressure to attend every event. No need to be an extrovert. Just find something that looks fun and come along.
