Workshop: Create Interactive Web Maps with Leaflet (JavaScript library)

Details
Interested in learning web mapping with JavaScript? Join our introductory workshop on Leaflet, an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps! No prior programming knowledge required.
WHAT TO BRING ==================================
This workshop will guide participants through creating a simple choropleth map (thematic polygon map) using Leaflet. Please prepare to bring the following to the workshop:
*** Your laptop
*** Access to a personal (free) GitHub account (https://github.com/), which will be used to host your web map. (I recommend trying to set up your GitHub account prior to the workshop, but if you need help, I can give you a hand when you arrive.)
WHERE TO FIND US ==================================
We have a private room booked at Brewster's (Beltline location on 11th Avenue)—just ask for GoGeomatics (or Morgan Ostrander) at the front.
Please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers. We look forward to seeing you!
