Interested in learning web mapping with JavaScript? Join our introductory workshop on Leaflet (https://leafletjs.com), an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps! This workshop will guide participants through creating a simple choropleth map (thematic polygon map) using Leaflet. No prior programming knowledge required.
*** You will need access to a personal (free) GitHub account (https://github.com/), which will be used to host your web map. (I recommend trying to set up your GitHub account prior to the workshop, but if you need help, I can give you a hand at the start of the workshop.)
