GoGeomatics Calgary Meetup – Expo Night at The Unicorn

This month’s Calgary meetup is a big one. GoGeomatics Expo 2026, Canada’s national geomatics conference and trade show, opens in Calgary on Tuesday, and the night before, the whole community gets together at The Unicorn.

🕕 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
📍 The Unicorn Superpub, 223 8 Ave SW, Calgary (head to the top floor)
It’s a straightforward pub night. Regulars from the Calgary group, Expo speakers, exhibitors and people in town from across Canada, all in one room. Catch up with people you know, meet some you don’t, and get a feel for who’s here before the Expo starts Tuesday morning.
🍻 What to Expect

• A relaxed, friendly night, no presentations and no agenda
• Free pub food (wings, nachos and snacks) for registered Expo guests
• Cash bar
• People from GIS, surveying, remote sensing, mapping, government, industry and education, from Calgary and across Canada

Admission is free. Please register in advance through the Expo registration page so we know roughly how many to expect:

Monday is the Expo’s free Community Day. The Canadian Geomatics & Geospatial Advisory Forum runs that afternoon at the BMO Centre if you want to make a day of it.
