Never touched a country song in your life? Perfect.
This series is made for total beginners or near-beginners who want to dip a toe into classic country without feeling overwhelmed. We’ll keep it simple, fun, and focused on playing actual songs—not just drills and theory.
You’ll:
Learn the 3 most important chords in country music
Get comfy with the boom-chuck strum feel
Play easy country classics from start to finish
️ Understand how lyrics and rhythm work together
Build the confidence to play with others (not just alone!)

Instructor: Bob Dunn
Bob is a musician who has been playing guitar since 1977 when his grandma gave him first guitar. Since then he has continued learning technique, theory, teaching and performance.He has performed in Canada, USA, Taiwan and Malaysia.He is a graduate of the Douglas College Music Program with an emphasis in Classical Guitar and interests in piano and voice/choir. However, he enjoys playing many different styles and genres of music. You can find him occasionally performing around town as Busker Bob or on social media.
