Prairie Mountain Hike

Looks like Friday is the good weather day this long weekend. I am saying goodbye to the ski season(sort of-looks like a lot of snow next week). I am sure everyone has some familiarity with Prairie Mtn (Calgary's version of the Grouse Grind. If you are not, it is a short and steep climb (8 km round trip, 711m elevation gain. Bring spikes as the trail with be icy, turning to mud and slush as it warms. Pack all the clothes you need to stay warm and a lunch.
