Welcome to Calgary Stock and Options Investing. I've decided to pick up the baton from Greg who ran this group last. I ran a similar one in Calgary from 2014-2020. For those DIY'er investors, this is the place for you. All levels are welcome. As a former financial advisor (no more) and active trader since 2012, I get how hard it can be to do this alone. I want to help folks out with the crazy world of investing. We meet in the basement of Joyce on 4th.

2026 is just around the corner. Do you have a plan or are you just going to keep doing what you have been doing?

Let's discuss the different trading / investing styles and how you can take advantage of what's available given your portfolio size, time, interest and realistic expectations. Why is this important? Simple. If you want to be successful in 2026 you need a realistic plan.

I do this fulltime for my family. There's no secret sauce, but without a strategy you will fail eventually. That's a given.

I'm picking up the baton from Greg. We'll meet in the basement of Joyce on 4th. Bring your questions while grabbing a beer. No attendance charge. No selling. Just good chatter. Pay for your own food and beverage.
