The air quality will worsen later today to high-risk, so perfectly understandable if you can't attend. This morning the walk in moderate air-quality will be 45-60 minutes. Thanks.

Marshall Springs is arguably one of Calgary's most successful wetland areas and well worth a visit to see the dozens of feisty red-winged blackbirds that nest there.

Check this webpage before you leave for the walk to see if it's a go. Depending on the weather and Air Quality Health Index, it could be canceled due to a storm or smoke.

Meet at 10:30 am in the Marshall Springs parking lot
Walk two steep hills to increase your heart rate, resting along the way.

What to bring
Water, bug repellent, sunhat/sunscreen, walking sticks or rainwear, depending on the weather.

Questions? Need directions? Please call, don't text, Sue at 403-200-2356. Thanks.
