Spanish & Coffee with the Calgary Language Nerds!

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join us at Waves Coffee House to practice Spanish! This is a warm & friendly atmosphere for all levels of Spanish students to improve upon their fluency level. Upon arrival, you will be broken into three groups:
• Absolute beginners: you can barely communicate in Spanish
• Upper beginners: you can communicate in Spanish at a basic level, but are lacking speaking practice
• Intermediate and advanced: you can communicate with a reasonable degree of ease in Spanish and simply want to converse with others to maintain your level.
I will spend the first 15 minutes or so with the intermediate speakers to get you set up and get the conversation going. I'll spend the remaining hour of my time with the absolute beginners and upper beginners to help you improve your Spanish level. We'll play fun games and do engaging activities, many of which I've invented myself based on my experiences teaching and learning languages, all with the goal of helping you progress consistently in Spanish.
WHO CAN ATTEND
Anyone who speaks or is learning Spanish. Please note that you must RSVP in order to attend. If you RSVP "attending" and are unable to attend anymore, change your RSVP to "not attending." Events are cancelled if nobody has signed up.
COST TO JOIN
• $2 to me to go toward my costs of hosting the event (monthly meetup fees that I pay, designing and purchasing games, gas to drive to the coffee shop, etc). You may bring cash, send me an e-transfer, or pay by credit card or PayPal at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/polyglotazren.
and
• A drink or food purchase from the coffee shop
HOW TO FIND US
We will be sitting in the back of the coffee shop near the barber shop next door.
