NEW: Online Language Learners' Hangout + Q&A

Meet other language learners!

This is a brand new pilot event on my Meetup page! If it is popular, I will organize it more frequently. Grab some tea (or any drink of your choice) and hang out with other language learners from different parts of the world.

We'll begin with some language learning Q&A.

Foreign language acquisition is a deep specialty of mine and has been the central pillar of my life for 18+ years. If you have specific language learning questions, I will answer them for you (e.g., how to improve grammar, timeline to fluency, resources to use etc).

We'll also have some time for casual chit-chat.

If there are lots of people who speak a certain language, I can open up breakout rooms for you to practice with each other. If not, we can hang out in the main Zoom room and bond over a shared love of language there.

I do ask that people have a working camera and microphone.

About me

I'm a polyglot who speaks English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Gujarati. I also speak basic Ukrainian, Portuguese, and Hindi. I started and have run the Calgary Language Nerds since 2016. I love what I do! Be a part of the journey on social media @polyglotazren, podcast, or blog.
